Stanford Group Company Strengthens International Service to Institutions

July 25, 2006 - In its continuing effort to provide seamless global service to institutional investor clients, Stanford Group Company has announced a strategic alliance with London-based Blue Oak Capital. Blue Oak Capital is an independent, research-driven brokerage house with strong ties across Europe and Asia.
Blue Oak Capital will be the exclusive distributor of Stanford Group Company’s institutional research to clients primarily in Europe and Asia through its international sales force. The alliance with Blue Oak will allow Stanford clients in Europe and Asia to have direct access to locally based sales support and full execution services through the Blue Oak’s seat on the London Stock Exchange as well as through its Direct Market Access arrangements.
Blue Oak also has its own well-regarded research team with a focus on areas that are complementary to Stanford’s existing research offerings. Most recently, Blue Oak Capital garnered second place in the new category of Leading Independent Research Provider in the Thomson Extel 2006 Pan-European Survey, which reflects the contribution of over 5,000 professionals from 1,222 buy-side firms, across 56 countries.
